Process

KFL is based on purchased pulp and waste paper imported mainly from USA and is using safe and environmental friendly processes in production. Sufficient quantity of raw material is stored in fully developed and equipped vast raw material yards, where stacking, segregation and sorting are carried out. After sorting and removal of unwanted substances, the raw material is sent for pulping, screening, cleaning and refining. The cleaned pulp slurry, chemically treated is fed on to the machine for sheet formation.

Utilities & Environmental Protection
The company has two boilers of 8 m.t. capacities each to meet the steam requirement. The company has an in-house power generation system comprising Cummins D.G. Sets of 4 MW capacity to take care of uninterrupted power supply.

KFL has a modern Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) with all latest equipment, which is working efficiently and meeting the highest norms set by the pollution control authorities. KFL is also a member unit of "Network for Industrial Environmental Management" (NIEM) program sponsored by UNEP and SEDA.
